Buying luxurious beauty and skin care products from imported brands aren’t really necessary. Since lots of local brands are coming up with same high quality beauty products as the other countries. I will share with you these local brands in which deserves the spotlight globally.
1. APOTHEKE SCIENCE
First off, one of my trusted local skincare brand in which gives the same skin treatment just like the high-end products with their skincare line formulated by medical doctors, molecular biologists, and dermatologists. This is the Apotheke Science, all organic, chemical-free, and cruelty free skincare brand. Their branding looks fancy and it reminds of The Ordinary skincare line as the packaging also have detailed information about the ingredients and its benefits. In all fairness, their skincare products are all affordable, and it's really worth it for its price ( based on my own experience w/ their products).
Apotheke Science Detoxifying Face Mask (P149), Niacinamide 10% Serum (P249).
I'm totally in love with the serum, because I've been trying different lightening serums for my acne and acne marks, and only niacinamide serums have healed my skin concerns. This is the only serum that I know that is affordable yet really effective for my skin concerns. It doesn't really feel that oily nor heavy on the feeling as it quickly absorbs by the skin. I religiously applied this every day and night to effectively fade all of my acne marks overtime. On the other hand, their Detoxifying Face Mask looks like a dupe of Aztec healing clay. This also does a great job in absorbing all the excess sebum on my face especially on my T-zone as it where it always oil up the most. My mom also enjoy using this as she thinks that it's more organic given that you will mix it with water to form a thick paste before using it.
2. CANDY DOLLZ
This is their newly released product, the Maggie Magic Cream Blush. They are a local brand manufactured by SAM4-Product Sales Corporations in which caters beauty products for all gender including the LGBTQ+. This blush has only 1 shade for the reason that it magically adjusts from a white creamy color into a pinkish blush color perfect match for any skin tone.

This isn't just a typical local cream blush. This also has a moisturizing properties such as Aloe Vera Oil and Emu Oil. I personally use this for my everyday look especially if I wanted my blush to last for a long day. This gives a super pigmented color even if you apply a little amount of it. It may be difficult to control the amount you will need because of its packaging, but they could still improve that. Thus, quality-wise it is magnificent for a local brand to come up with this kind of blush formula. Truly lightweight on the skin and I didn't have any irritations upon using this product.
3. BEAUTYTRENDS
It is formerly known as BeautyFix. It’s a local beauty brand which offers affordable skincare products that claims to make skin clear and bright, yet will not break our wallets. They are exclusively available in all Watsons stores nationwide. Thus, with their slogan of “Glow up your skin!” They have reinvented their best selling products in which are now trending because of their affordability and cute brand packaging.
Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask (P99)
I personally use the Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask and this has instant brightening result after one use. If you're familiar with carbonated bubble clay mask from different high-end brands, this product is a local dupe for that and I think this also gives the same skin care benefit. They also offer their best-selling nose/face peel off masks and now comes with two variants: oil control & detoxify , and whitening & pore minimizer.
4. SKIN HABIT PH
They are a local cosmetic brand and soon to have a skincare line too in which promotes cruelty-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic products. They have recently launched their Mini Smooch Shakers and claims to for a lightweight and highly-pigmented formula.

They have a variety of shades and they actually had a limited edition of Nude shades Collection. These are powder matte lip products that works for me even if I have dry lips. I truly love all of their shade ranges. This is also blendable, good for making a gradient lip look, because it doesn't set quickly. Although, this doesn't really that long especially if i'm eating oily foods, it tends to fade overtime. But a quick retouch will make it better anyway.
5. ELLANA MINERAL COSMETICS
They’re a local beauty brand in which promotes mineral cosmetics, cruelty-free, vegan, talc-free, and safe for pregnant moms. I have made a separate and in-depth blog review about these brand, you could check it here:
Original Glow BB Foundie (P999), Satin Stain Shine Liquid Lip and Cheek (P699), Pressed Mineral Foundation w/ Free Palette (P649)
I personally use the Original Glow BB Foundation and it was really natural but its coverage is buildable from medium to full. It also has a skincare benefit with SPF 50 PA++ It is truly lightweight on the skin and even if I get oily it still made me look glowing rather than haggard (depends on your skin type). Although it doesn’t really last that long especially if not set with a powder. So i also use their Pressed Mineral Foundation to set it and do some retouches after.
