UNLI MALAYSIAN COMFORT FOOD; STIX LOKLOK

There has been a wide variety of unli food chains in our country. We Filipinos are also fond of trying different cuisines in such way so in this blog, I will share the experience of trying the most common comfort food all the way from Malaysia.

The first unlimited Loklok & Grill Buffet are now in the Philippines! It is a street food in Malaysia consisting of various steamboat style foods inclusive of meats and vegetables that are served on a skewer.

Stix Loklok & Grill

They serve authentic loklok dishes popularly known from Malaysia, Singapore, and other related cities. These street food are brought here in the Philippines to be served in a trend marketing strategy that Filipinos usually love which is Unlimited and Grilled. Loklok is usually dipped in a steamboat of soup or broth. Aside from that, they also have Stix special barbecue and wings.

Together with my Hungry Daily Squad, we've visited this new food restaurant and bar in the food avenue of BF Aguirre, Paranaque. The ambiance were really welcoming given that it's neat and simple. We've also had our loklok and grilled barbecues. They store everything inside the refrigerator, and everything is self service except changing the broth and grilling the wings and barbecues. My favorites are the seafood bun, prawn roll, and lobster balls.

They also have different specialty sauces in which they formulated and my favorite is the Malaysian Peanut Satay. I also enjoyed the loklok dipped in their 3 broths which are the Malaysian Spicy broth, Chicken broth, and Beef broth.

The loklok really made my stomach full as it is a heavy meal even without rice but they still offer rice in Stix Loklok paired with the grilled wings and barbecue. Since its a bar and restaurant, they also have soda and alcohol drinks such as soju and other light drinks.

For only 399 pesos you could savor their UNLI Loklok for 3 hours stay. Of course with no leftover and take-out. Other prices, P299 - UNLI GRILL, P499 - UNLI LOKLOK & GRILL
